I agree with you. But it eats a lot of RAM resources. You must have at least 521 RAM, to run Kaspersky. Any alternative for slow computers?

I totally disagree. Nod32 is better for both fast and slow systems.

Physical Rams are not the only factor in system scans.

According to me ,we should install antiviruses based on current reports made by some ANTIVIRUS EFFICIENCY CHECKING WEBSITES.These websites classify and give a very broad structure about the major antiviruses of today and their prowess in all classified fields like heuristic engine efficiency, macros detection rates, malware scripts detection rates and much more.....

Based on all the reports made by these particular websites,I come to the conclusion that Avira Antivir is the best antivirus with best stability and best detection rate today.

I specially check out from AV-COMPARATIVES.ORG

    before choosing my antivirus....

    GOOD LUCK!

i didnt like avira alot got past it IMO
kapersky just doesnt like me it refuses point blank to check all my drives
the only one that has been stable (working wise not necessarily scan/efficency wise) that worked good for me was Norton IS 08
yeah yeah i know ive heard it all before ram hog resource hog etc but on my system before i installed it and afterwards there hasnt been as big a impact resource wise than any other antivirus
nod32 alot can get past it too

just my opinions and personal experience
