Well I have voted for Pele. But I could have also voted for Maradona... They are both great players.

But, since I am die hard fan of Brazil, I have voted for Pele.

I agree to the fact that Maradona is the Pronce of football, indeed a great dribbler. I have seen some of his excellelent skills. but i think he lacks a little bit of sportmanship. Remeber the "Hand of GOD!"

And again, he got addicted to drugs which set a very bad example for players from the later generations.

On the other hand Pele was rightly called The GOD of football. He was an extraordinarily brilliant striker. Once the ball is in the opposite side's penalty box, and there's stand a striker named Pele you can be 99% sure that it would be a GOAL....

So, I was, am and will be of the opinion that not only as a footballer but also as a human being Pele is great than any other footballer on this earth...

We are not suppose to love or hate them. We are talking here about their footballer quality and what kind of person they are.

I would not say that Maradona is a bad man. True, he had his own problems with drugs and alcohol and other such stuffs... but hey... we all make mistakes.

It is not always easy to be famous... some people just can't handle it, or they handle it very hard.

But you can't compare these legends of football...all of them are so freaking good...you just can't rule out any one's qualities when comparing them !!
