New Srilankan sensation. . . What do you think if he would be as successful abroad (Like australia, new-zealand, england...) as he is at his own country's Cricket grounds ??

I dont find anything special about his bowling but cant understand how he is able to take so many wickets:confused:

Maybe his luck is with him or the batsman becomes nervous while batting against him.

Lol... I'm also shocked how he is able to get great batsman out everytime. . .

There is something special about it , that is the only reason he took so many wickets.

Indian batsman are considered most experienced batsman against spin bowling attack.
nd They don't understand Mendis bowling ....

It is special talent of mendis... don't you think ??

He is considered as a spiner but his bowling seems a bit like a medium fast bowler.He is new and it will take something for the batsman to understand him.But I can say that in a non-turning wicket Mendis wont be able to do anything and go for plentl of runs:)

He is not a medium fast bowler , His action is like such . . his bowling action seems like a medium bowler.
Remember there is a big difference between medium and medium fast bowler.
Yeah, I do agree . . .at non-turning pitches , he may go for runs for sure.

Yes there is a huge different between medium and medium fast bowlers but Mendis is new in international cricket.Many batsman has not even faced them,thats why he is in the top at the moment.

he is a magician.....he can do magic with balls...and sri lanka is not a new commer country in cricket map.....i think he can also prosper from there...

If Mendis is able to retain the way he is bowling,Sri Lankans can be the best bowling site.They have bowlers Like Murlitharan and Vaas already and having Mendis will make them more stronger.

He is so consistent with his line and length but he may struggle on flat pitches against good batting teams

you are right, i don't think mendis will be as good as warne. warne is a genuine spinner with lots of turn. mendis has variations, he doesn't have too much turns, that's why he is getting wickets.
